• On startup you will be asked for your username and password for the F2FGaming website.
• Upon successful login a window displaying the following will appear:

    • Exit
  • Side Picture Toolbar
    • My Games
    • New Game
    • Player Search
  • Your name with an icon next to it on the bottom

Favorite Opponents:

            This area displays all of your tracked opponents’ usernames within groups that you have specified. Favorite Opponents is a default group – on startup.  Grey cards signify offline, red cards signify online, 2 red cards signify in a chat room and a red card with a pair of binoculars signifies that the person is looking for a game.

• To add an opponent you would right mouse button click over any group [Favorite Opponents] and select the ‘Add Opponent’ option. This will open up a new form for you to type in a username and to type in a group to put them under. When you click the ‘Add’ button they will be added to your listing.
• To remove an opponent you can right mouse button click on the username and select the ‘Remove Opponent’ option.
• To send a private message you can right mouse button click on an opponent and select the ‘Send Message’ option.
• If you are currently in a chat room – you can invite a opponent to join you by right mouse button clicking on the opponent and selecting the ‘Invite to Chat Room’ option.

Bottom User Display Information:

            This shows you how everyone who has you in their favorites listing, sees your username.

Chat

            This is a toggle button that will open up the chatting pane on the right side. This is automatically opened for you if it’s closed and you have selected the ‘Send Message’ option for any opponent.

Alerts:

            If this application is minimized and the Alerts button is pushed in [on], then little alerts in the lower right hand corner will be displayed when receiving messages, etc. This defaults on.

Msg

            This allows you to append a short message to the right of your username OR lets you announce that you are looking to play a game.

• If you select ‘I want to Play Hammer of the Scots’ then when hitting save your username will have it’s icon changed and the text to the right of it will display you’re looking to play Hammer. You will also now show up for any Player Searches that are done by other players.

Help

            Not functional at this time.

Min

            Minimizes application. Using the taskbar icon you can restore or exit while minimized.

Exit

            Exits the application.

My Games

            Displays a list of all the games that have been created with you as a player.  Mousing over the game name will display some information about the game. You enter a game by double clicking on the specific game name.

New Game

            Creates a Hammer of the Scots game for you to play. You will need to know your opponent ahead of time & you  need to add him to your opponents list prior to creating the game. You select the opponent from the dropdown list, type in some friendly game name, choose your side then hit ‘Play’, you will be automatically taken into the game. Upon hitting ‘Play’ your opponent will now see this game as an option in their ‘My Games’ listing.

Player Search

            This displays a list of all online users who have set their msg to the ‘I want to Play Hammer of the Scots’ option.  You can right mouse button click on the username and select ‘Send Message’ to send a chat message.

CHAT WINDOW

Private Chat

            This displays your private messages to other players and their replies.

            The Send Private Messages dropdown listing starts off with your favorite opponents and adds every user who sends you a message since you logged in. You can reset this list to just your favorites by using the Reset Users button.

Group Chat

            This displays your group chat room window. You can choose from a couple of static rooms & your private room. All room occupants are displayed in the list on the right hand side.
