  Step4: Play the Game

Once you know who your opponent is - you can now start a game. After selecting the New Game button in Tunguska, you will be asked for 3 pieces of information:
  • Opponent
    • This is a drop down select box. If you opponent is not in here, it's because he's currently not added to your opponents list  - or he hasn't sent you a message since you logged on. The easiest way to fix this is to right click on Favorite Opponents - add the username of the opponent [use any group that you like] - then when you go back to this drop down select box, the opponent's username will be in there.
  • Game Name
    • This is a friendly name that you and your opponent can use to reference the game.
  • Your Side
    • Are you English or Scottish

Once you hit the Play button, you will be automatically brought into the game. Tunguska will be minimized and a small f2f taskbar icon will be visible on the right bottom of your screen. You can restore Tunguska at any time by right clicking on this icon and choosing Restore.

Your opponent will be able to use the My Games button in Tunguska - to see the new game that you just created. By double clicking on the name - he will be brought into the game automatically.

You cannot run 2 Tunguska's at the same time - or - 2 Hammer of the Scot games at the same time. When you start up another one - it will terminate the connection of the first program with the server.

That's it - you are now playing Hammer of the Scots.
