The .NET Framework is a new component of Windows created by Microsoft. Tunguska requires the .NET libraries to run, so the .NET Framework must be installed on your machine in order for them to operate properly. In the future you will find more and more applications that use .NET, so installing it now will mean you will be ready for these other programs as well. Aside from installing it on your computer to enable these new applications, there is very little for you to do. .NET should not change the operation of your computer.

Once the .NET Framework is installed, the Tunguska installation can proceed normally.
